  • Is the lake safe for children?
Ulster Heights lake is situated across the road from Thunder Hill bungalows. In order to get to the lake you have to come out of Thunder Hill's gate, cross the road, enter the property across the street through their gate, and then come out of yet another gate. While parents must always be responsible to ensure that their children stay on the property, the lake is not in our immediate vicinity. The lake is shallow by the shore, and is a great place for children to frolic. Close parental supervision is absolutely necessary at all times. We recommend children who are not good swimmers wear properly fitted lifejackets when entering the water.
